The Programme
PG Department of Commerce (M.Com) of TTL Trust (R) is affiliate to University of Mysore and the first batch is going to start for the academic year 2013-14 and the curriculum is followed as per University Regulation. The University of Mysore adopted the CBCS for all the PG Courses during the academic year 2010-11. A brief explanation about CBCS of University of Mysore is as follows:
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has stressed on speedy and substantive academic and administrative reforms in higher education for promotion of quality and excellence. The Action Plan proposed by UGC outlines the need to consider and adopt Semester System, Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), and Flexibility in Curriculum Development and Examination Reforms in terms of adopting Continuous Evaluation Pattern by reducing the weightage on the semester-end examination so that students enjoy a de-stressed learning environment. Further, UGC expects that institutions of higher learning draw a roadmap in time bound manner to accomplish the above. The University of Mysore inspired by its recognition as an Institution of Excellence by the Government of India (2008) and identified by Government of Karnataka to be developed as innovative university (2009), the university plans to bring about radical changes in the curriculum, teaching and evaluation. The vision of the university is to groom the finest breed of citizens equipped with knowledge and talent to serve the society. The university aspires to march forward to achieve benchmarking of our academic practices against world class standards.

PG Department of Commerce has main aim at overall personality development of the students, this can be possible when students engages themselves in various co-curricular activities and the Department organizes the following co-curricular activities for the students:

For overall development of an student it is very important to engage them in not only in co-curricular activities but also in extra curricular activities like sports, fun fairs, fun trips active participation in various elocutions and debate competitions. The PG department of Commerce takes up responsibility to conduct the various extra-curricular activities.
